Maddi Vestrum (They/Them)
Welcome! I am a fiber artist and portraitist fortunate to live and create on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish People. I am queer, disabled and busy taking a stab at embroidered memories. I got diagnosed with a neurological disorder (FND) in 2017 that forced me to slow down - I discovered embroidery to keep me busy. It has evolved into a beautiful creative outlet that I am happy to share with all of you. When I am not busy stitching you will find me walking my dog in the beautiful Vancouver BC. Baking up a storm in my cozy kitchen or volunteering in my community.
I draw and hand stitch everything with good intentions and love. Looking for the perfect one of a kind gift for any occasion (birthdays, holidays, home warming, weddings and more)? Or find something unique to add to your own art collection with any of my one of kind creations or a custom portrait. Let me bring to life a memory when you commission a custom portrait of your pets or family from me!
